Profile — Russell Curtis
With extensive experience including high-end retail, new-build and refurbishment as well as research buildings for a range of blue-chip clients, Russell has overseen a number of high-profile projects for RCKa, including the Technology Centre for global currency and security experts De La Rue.
Russell is a trustee of the Architecture Foundation and a founding director of Project Compass CIC, a not-for-profit organisation campaigning for increased transparency and accessibility in public sector procurement in the UK. He has recently been appointed by Sadiq Khan as a Mayor’s Design Advocate and sits on design review panels for Croydon Council and the London Legacy Development Corporation. He has written articles for Icon magazine and Building Design, and is a regular commentator for the Architects’ Journal.
